1. Reservations

Reservations for standard dining may be made online or by telephone and do not require a deposit.

We kindly ask guests to inform us as soon as possible if they are unable to attend. Late cancellations have a significant impact on a small independent restaurant.

We reserve the right to release tables if guests are more than 15 minutes late without prior notice.

2. Private Dining & Exclusive Hire

Private dining, large party bookings, and exclusive hire are subject to a confirmed minimum spend, agreed in writing at the time of booking.

Once confirmed, this minimum spend forms the basis of the reservation agreement.

Securing Your Booking

To secure your date, a non-refundable deposit of £100 is required at the time of booking.

Payment Schedule

Payments are structured against the agreed minimum spend as follows:

  • 30 days prior to the event
    25% of the minimum spend is due (inclusive of the £100 deposit)

  • 14 days prior to the event
    75% of the minimum spend is due (inclusive of any previous payments)

  • On completion of the event
    The remaining balance, including any additional spend, is payable

Flexible Payments

Should you wish to pay more in advance, this can be arranged.

Please note:

  • Any payments made in excess of the required staged amounts remain refundable until the relevant payment stage is reached

  • At each stage, the required percentage becomes non-refundable

Example:
If 100% of the minimum spend is paid 30 days prior and the event is cancelled 27 days before, 25% of the minimum spend will be retained, with the remaining balance refunded.

Cancellations

In the event of cancellation, charges will be based on the payment stage reached:

  • More than 30 days prior
    Loss of £100 deposit only

  • Between 14 and 30 days prior
    25% of the minimum spend is non-refundable

  • Within 14 days of the event
    75% of the minimum spend is non-refundable

Any payments made above these thresholds will be refunded.

3. Tasting Menu & Dietary Requirements

For tasting menu reservations and events, dietary requirements and allergies must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance.

While we take every care in the preparation of food, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens due to the nature of our kitchen environment.

4. Pricing

All prices include VAT.

No service charge is added to your bill. Should you wish to leave a gratuity, there is an option available via our card terminal. All tips are distributed in full between the team members working that service.

5. Conduct

We strive to provide a warm, relaxed and enjoyable environment for all guests.

We reserve the right to refuse service or request guests leave if behaviour is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or unsafe to staff or other diners.

6. Website & Intellectual Property

All content, imagery and branding on this website is the property of Next Door and may not be copied or reproduced without written permission.

7. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
